This research investigates solar-driven evaporation through anodic aluminum oxide (AAO) nanoporous membranes, using a solar simulator to replicate concentrated sunlight and study how nanoscale pore geometry governs vapor generation rate and efficiency. By coupling controlled optical heating with a wicking membrane structure, the work aims to improve passive, energy-free evaporation systems for applications like solar desalination and water purification.
